Kangwon Land Partners with NEOWIZ and Massive Gaming for Next-Gen Slot Development

Kangwon Land has signed a new slot software development agreement with NEOWIZ, marking the latest phase of their partnership that began in 2021. NEOWIZ’s subsidiary, Massive Gaming (MVG), will also participate in the collaboration, providing expertise in online game development and digital adaptation. 

The agreement expands upon the previous partnership, which primarily focused on resource sharing and technical support, by establishing a new framework where NEOWIZ and MVG will jointly lead software development using Kangwon Land’s platform and infrastructure. 

Kangwon Land will concentrate on hardware production and deployment within its casino operations. Under the terms of the deal, Kangwon Land will retain ownership of the offline slot software, while NEOWIZ and MVG will hold intellectual property rights for the online versions. 

The collaboration aims to strengthen all parties’ competitiveness in the global slot gaming sector through coordinated development and resource sharing. The partnership previously resulted in the adaptation of NEOWIZ and MVG’s online slot title Shen Shou Wan Fu into a physical machine, which launched at Kangwon Land’s casino in 2024.
